    After Thanksgiving thoughts
I had a four day weekend and the break from work was needed. Not that I've had time to reflect I think this was the best thanksgiving I've had. I only spent time with my family for a little while, and then went to a dinner/ party at a friend’s house with about 20 people. We all had a great time and I was their till four in the morning. The only complaint I have about the weekend was that I ended up hanging out with really drunk people every night. I don't drink so by the forth evening it finally got to me.

It did snow a foot and a half in the mountains and about eight inches at my house Saturday morning. It was definitely needed.

I watched Fight Club again last night, and I still love that movie as much as the first time I watched it. It's probably my favorite movie. After watching it I wanted to start reading Survivor but I have another to finish first. A friend of mine once told me I reminded her of Tyler, her being as big a fan as I, I took the compliment well.

Also last night my Roommate showed me the car he's trying to buy, and described what he'd like to do to it. 18's, body kit and that wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't an all wheel drive wagon for snowboarding. It kills me how materialistic some of my friends are. But hey what ever make them happy I guess. Egos are a waste of time.

I went to 7-11 this morning as I always do. And I had a Monterey Go Go taquito for breakfast, and I was thinking... I eat a lot of Bad shit. Most of my diet consists of fatty, greasy, yet tasty food. I don't have a balanced diet; I don't even have a consistent diet. I skip meals a couple of times a week at random. If I go home right after work and lay on my bed watching movies I tend to skip dinner.

    A little ignorance.
I think it was yesterday that my work put out our holiday schedule for next year. Generally we get Good Friday off as one of our floater days, but this year was different. We got the following Monday off instead. This caused some people to get pissed off in the process. One guy, this ratty white trash type, tells me "This is bullshit they take away Good Friday and give us some n--ger holiday" thinking they gave of MLK day off. He thought we got it off because most of our facility in Arkansas is black. He said well they're ignorant they can't learn, we should have slaves, we are the superior race. It kind of pissed me off. I'm an asshole and I don't like most people, but I'm no better than anyone. I told him that we are all equally worthless on this planet. Because I believe that.

I'm all for not liking someone for most reasons. But race, no. That's just pathetic. It's like other countries hating us because we're American. That's ignorance. I know a few people, mostly from work, that still believe they are divine because the lack of color in their skin.

But enough of the serious stuff.

I was playing my Xbox last night and the damn disk was kind of scratched and wouldn't play. It reminded me of the good ole days of the 8 bit Nintendo. Remember how they would eventually stop playing games normally? You had to do some trick to get it to play. It was like cracking the vault and the Federal Reserve. If you didn't have it just right you get that flashing screen when you turned it on. Some of my favorite tricks were; blow on the game and the console then push then game in just far enough so that you had to force it down. Or washing the games prongs and when you push it down wedge another game in there to hold it down. Do you have any old tricks?

I was playing Amped 2, and it cracked me up. I was so emotional about not being able to land certain tricks that I was cussing at the T.V. I remember my stepdad use to do that and I'd always make fun of him for it. And now I'm doing the same thing. Granted I only do it with this type of game, I'm the same way with Tony Hawk, and Dave Mirra's game. This is why I never bought any of them I didn't want to pay for so much frustration. That's the same reason I stopped going to strip clubs with my friends.

I'm new here.. Is this seat taken?
Today I found my way here to LJ by word from others on a BBS.

So where to start... Neil Gaiman... No. We'll come back to that.

I found myself rolling out of bed this morning late because I didn't turn the volume up on the alarm. No biggie things could have been worse, like being too late to pick up coffee. Not the case though I got my normal cup of 7-11 Coffee and made it to work on time. How do you take your 7-11 coffee or coffee in general? I use 5 French Vanilla creamers, three half and half's, and dust it with some sugar. I use to be a big corporate coffee whore but I can enjoy my crap coffee just as much for a fraction of the cost... (Am I promoting?) Anyway back to the business at hand or feet or any other appendage you like. Work? Okay we'll head there. I work in a warehouse office which tends to be boring most of the time. But it gives me a lot of time catching up on the reading I've missed out on most of my life. See I wasn't much of a reader and kind of picked up the habit when I reached the end of the Internet. Rather than turn around and surf backwards I picked up a book and then another and another. Which brings me to Gaiman, a friend of mine brought me American Gods to read awhile ago but I had a list going so I didn't get to it till now. I've read about a third of the book since yesterday and I really like it. In the book if you read it you'll find out that America worships a different breed of gods described in the book. Like the internet, trains at one point which turn to planes and so on. What do you worship? What makes you tick?

Don't mind the random change that’s how it came out of my head today.
